Ingredients: |
2 cups sugar 4 tablespoons cocoa 1 cup milk 1 stick of butter, softened |
1 cup miniature marshmallows 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional) |
Cooking
Instructions: |
1. In a saucepan, mix together sugar and cocoa.
2. Gradually pour in milk and add softened butter.
3. Stir mixture constantly on medium high heat until mixture becomes bubbly and forms into a soft ball when dropped into cold water.
4. Remove from heat and let sit to thicken.
5. Add vanilla, marshmallows and chopped nuts to thickened fudge.
6. Beat mixture by hand until thick.
7. Spread fudge onto a buttered plate to cool.
8. Once fudge has cooled, cut into pieces and serve. |

Better get out that wooden spoon and have a little energy when you start this recipe :) You can place the fudge in the refrigerator to cool faster if you like. |
